Starting from September 1, 2023, we are implementing a new policy for events that involve a fee. The primary aim is to make the registration process more efficient, allowing more of our members to participate. Additionally, we hope to minimize late cancellations and no-shows for certain events, ensuring that opportunities are maximized for all.
So, here's what you need to know about the new policy:
- Payment at the Time of Registration: For events that involve a fee, we kindly ask our members to make the payment at the time of registration. This applies to events where the museum or another institution charges a fee and even to events where CHV will be making a donation to the institution in lieu of a fee.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Please note that the fees paid at the time of registration are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or inability to attend. This policy helps us better plan and organize events for everyone's benefit. If you are paying by check you will have a 5-day period to mail the funds or forfeit your registration.
- Registration Transfers: We understand that unexpected situations may arise, hence a member may transfer their registration to another CHV member. Unfortunately, it is not possible to transfer the registration to a non-member at this time.
